OPP ~ Nutrition Care for Allergy Period

“Oh no, swollen skin? This is terrible!”, “My whole body filled with erythematous points and it feels really itchy!” Do these sentences ring any bells? Allergy might be the problem you are experiencing."Allergy" is a very familiar term to most people. Many people are allergic to one or more causal agents such as peanut, mango, wheat, egg, prawn, etc.

“Hey, do you want some?" your friend asks as he offers you a piece of mouthwatering, homemade brownie. You're tempted by the tasty dessert, but then you noticed the peanuts which are placed at the top part of the brownie. You know that you're allergic to peanuts, but you tried so hard to convince yourself that it would be fine just for a bite. It is definitely a no-no. You should realize that even a tiny bit of it could cause severe irritations.

Our professional nutritionist, Mr Heng was once again set foot on the stage, delivered a talk which was entitled “Nutrition Care for Allergy Period”. It’s always important to comprehend the disease before we know how to treat or prevent it. He clearly explained from top to bottom about allergy, especially food allergy to the audiences. These included the mechanism of allergy, signs and symptoms, kinds of allergen, ways of allergy diagnosis and the methods on how to strengthen our immune system. He also explained the differences between healing crisis and allergy response. He strongly recommended GT@F® Milk Powder as a food supplement because it is able to enhance our body immune system.

Straight after that, the night continued with a motivation talk by one of our crown managers, Mr. Wong. His talk was incredibly engaging. All the audiences were truly inspired in becoming a successful individual like himself.

Next week, a malay talk entitled "Penjagaan melalui pemakanan untuk tekanan darah tinggi" will be present to you by our company's nutritionist, Puan Masrisa on 27th July 2009 (Monday), from 8.00pm -10.00pm.
