Complementary Juice

If you are a frequent visitor of every Monday night's seminar which is held in our company, you would have probably heard a lot of information about antioxidants, and a piece or two things about oxidation reaction. Just in case you are not aware of these terms, please allow me to explain them again here within this post.

Firstly, what is antioxidant? Extracted from wikipedia, antioxidant basically is a molecule which slows down or prevent the occurrence of oxidation of other molecules. So it generally leads to the next question, what actually does oxidation reaction do to our body as it can reach a very bad and serious extent that many people are saying that oxidation could make us looked older? Oxidation reaction actually produces harmful substances which are known as "the free radicals". These free radicals, they would basically damage our cells and body system.

And before you know it, we have actually "consumed" a large amount of free radicals into our body. What are the foods which contribute to this? It is none other than foods which are high in fat and calories. These types of foods could generate free radicals in our body which in turns destroy or harm our body cells.

In a recent study, it shows that when we are consuming these foods, there is actually a complementary food which we could take into consideration in order to reduce the production of free radicals.

A study which was conducted by researchers from University of Buffalo involved 10 strong individuals. This study requested them to consume a 900-calorie breakfast after fasting in the previous day of the study. After the consumption of those delicious foods, one group of them were asked to drink a 300-calories orange juice, the second group were asked to drink a 300-calories glucose drink while the third group drank plain edible water. There was no significant difference in inflammatory mediators among these participants, and these participants were requested to finish the meal in 15 minutes.

Next, subsequent 1, 3, and 5 hours were the moments where their blood samples were collected. As a result, it showed that oxygen free radicals increased an average of 62 percent with water, 63 percent with the glucose and 47 percent with orange juice. This generally explains that original orange juices could potentially reduce the production of free radicals.

Hence, when non-existence of the best possible products, which is GTF Products occurred, and at the same time you feel that high fats and calories foods which are placed in front of you sometimes are inevitable but to swallow them into your tummy, might as well take a glass of fresh orange juice as your companion.

Resists Asthma

Asthmatic attack is intimidating. Especially when there are children in the house with such diseases. What happened to asthma sufferers is due to chronic inflammation in their airway passage. Such inflammation causes the narrowing of the bronchi (a plural form of bronchus, meaning: branches of trachea) of the sufferers.

When asthmatic attack is underway, the smooth muscles in bronchi will tend to constrict, and this causes the airways become swollen and inflamed, as a result, breathing difficulties are encountered by sufferers. Most of the obvious symptoms are very well known by all of us, with the likes of experiencing tight chest, and with wheezing sound as the sign of breathing difficulties and internal air obstructions.

Currently, a preliminary study from a New Zealand company Plant & Food Research might be a relief antidote to many asthma sufferers out there. What they have found in their study, was that blackcurrants might contain natural chemicals which could potentially curb these hazardous attacks.

The mentioned researchers discovered a natural compound in New Zealand blackcurrants which is called epigallocatechin. Such compound is said to be able to reduce inflammation in lung tissues. Speaking of New Zealand blackcurrants, it does not mean that you must get these useful compounds by booking an expensive air ticket and get it these invaluable blackcurrants from New Zealand. Such compound, can be found in other fruits such as persimmon and pomegranate.
