Many of us have so many responsibilities in life that we forget to take care of ourselves. Many of people who suffer from all kinds of illness resulted from their unhealthy living conditions. Of course, it’s hard to prioritize something like giving 30 minutes to yourselves for daily exercise when you have so many other priorities in life. However, having a well-cared-for body can make you feel good about yourself and your life, and conveys to others that you value yourself. Dr. Lim Li Yi has delivered a health talk on “Diabetes - How to take care of yourselves” on 28th September 2009 (Monday). Diabetes is a serious disease. Following your diabetes treatment plan takes round-the-clock commitment. But your efforts are worthwhile. Careful diabetes care can reduce your risk of serious even life-threatening — complications. Diabetic must control their daily diet, check blood glucose level regularly, maintain exercise frequently as well as take care of own feet and eye conditions.
