Lactose Intolerance is Unnecessary

Tons of people do not like to drink milk. The reason? Simple. They often claim that they experience discomfort after consuming it. Their stomachs got bloated, they are afraid of the fact that they would experience acute diarrhea after swallowing it into their tummies.

As a result, people start by shunning away from taking in milk and other related dairy products as one of their important food sources. But we need to know that, milk is the most important source of vitamin D as well as the famous mineral, calcium.

Calcium is vital to us as we need certain amount of it each day, in guaranteeing that our bone is healthy always, and hopefully when we grow old in the later days. And especially for ladies, since they are more prone to experience osteoporosis should their calcium storage is not enough.

But many are believed to have heard the above statements too many times, but yet, due to the misconception of lactose intolerance, many still do not accept milk is an edible food. By shunning away from milk, it means that we are excluding a nutrient-rich food out of our lives.

According to the outcomes of the recent NIH Consensus Development Conference on Lactose Intolerance, it is said that without the consumption of low-fat and fat free milk and other dairy products in the diet, it would be difficult to meet our nutrient needs.

What is more, there was available research saying that, people who suffer from lactose intolerance, are genuinely tolerate to about 12 grams of lactose, which is about a cup of milk. That very individual who consumed that cup of milk would experience no or minor symptoms.

So, why limit yourself from taking dairy products?
