Cells Implantation for Diabetes

As at 29th July 2009, newspapers all around Malaysia are reporting the emergence of the 4th case of death which relates to H1N1. Such case has caused serious turmoil in several local universities too including UKM (Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia) and UPM (Universiti Putra Malaysia). H1N1 was originally perceived as a disease which is caused by swines (pigs), which in the end turns out to be an uncorrected proof.

Since everything in the sophisticated society nowadays revolves around swines and pigs, researchers in a New Zealand biotechnology company has announced that they will soon implanting pig cells into the body of diabetes sufferers.

The reason? Simple enough. They had scientifically claimed that the incorporation of pig cells into human body can actually stimulate the production of insulin hormones from the pancreas. Although this does not seem to be able to cure the condition, but it would probably reduce a large amount of insulin intake by diabetics.

Such natural method, as in allowing our body to produce insulin hormones, is indeed a very good news, particularly to the people who suffer from diabetes. But is this way of implantation could really benefit humankind without any side effects? And to a large part of fellow Malaysians, this method just does not seem to be serving any purposes at all.

Some scientists were postulating that by implanting pig cells into the human body could prove to be fatal as such doing could possibly introduce the existence of new virus. As a matter of fact, this consequence seems to be very possible. But Dr. Elliot, managing director of the mentioned biotechnology company insisted that the postulation made by the scientists as "too theoretical".

No doubt, that seems to be a treatable method, but should we become ignorant about the existence of GT&F Products? The product invention by Prof. Mao has proven time after time, about how it could effectively reduce the blood glucose level and eliminating any possible metabolic syndromes. Most importantly, the consumption of the products does not appear to show any sign of side effects at all.

OPP ~ Nutrition Care for Allergy Period

“Oh no, swollen skin? This is terrible!”, “My whole body filled with erythematous points and it feels really itchy!” Do these sentences ring any bells? Allergy might be the problem you are experiencing."Allergy" is a very familiar term to most people. Many people are allergic to one or more causal agents such as peanut, mango, wheat, egg, prawn, etc.

“Hey, do you want some?" your friend asks as he offers you a piece of mouthwatering, homemade brownie. You're tempted by the tasty dessert, but then you noticed the peanuts which are placed at the top part of the brownie. You know that you're allergic to peanuts, but you tried so hard to convince yourself that it would be fine just for a bite. It is definitely a no-no. You should realize that even a tiny bit of it could cause severe irritations.

Our professional nutritionist, Mr Heng was once again set foot on the stage, delivered a talk which was entitled “Nutrition Care for Allergy Period”. It’s always important to comprehend the disease before we know how to treat or prevent it. He clearly explained from top to bottom about allergy, especially food allergy to the audiences. These included the mechanism of allergy, signs and symptoms, kinds of allergen, ways of allergy diagnosis and the methods on how to strengthen our immune system. He also explained the differences between healing crisis and allergy response. He strongly recommended GT@F® Milk Powder as a food supplement because it is able to enhance our body immune system.

Straight after that, the night continued with a motivation talk by one of our crown managers, Mr. Wong. His talk was incredibly engaging. All the audiences were truly inspired in becoming a successful individual like himself.

New Aid for Diabetics

In the past, scientists and researchers were investigating deeply into the roots of problems which are faced by diabetic patients. Gradually, they found the cause, namely the malfunction of pancreas, or perhaps it is because of the malfunction or the existing of insufficient insulin hormones.

To this day, one of the latest technologies which have been founded by researchers and fellow scientists, is HBOT (hyperbaric oxygen therapy). This technology (the huge device as pictured above), is said to pump in pure oxygen under pressure. Under such circumstance, when the wounds of diabetic patients are exposed to the oxygen exerted by the device, the chronic wounds are said to be able to heal, and most importantly, preventing the wounded diabetic sufferer from experiencing amputation.

Such therapy, as being scientifically proven that it can surely heal the chronic wound suffered by diabetic patients seems to be a piece of great news! But the cost for such therapy is quite expensive as in foreign countries, a single session for such therapy (which lasts for about an hour) is said to be in the range of $100-$200. What is more, HBOT is needed to be continued until the wound is completely healed.

A continuous process is essential by using such therapy, does it worth each of our penny? For some, maybe it does, but things changed drastically for good reasons when Prof. Frank Mao founded GT&F Products which could basically help each of every diabetic patient.

Does it heal the wounds suffered by the diabetic patients too? Of course it does. We have numerous scientific evidences as well as living testimonies which could tell you that! You are welcome to check it out with our company for further information.

The Link of Calorie

People are becoming more and more calorie-conscious nowadays. Many of us think that excessive calorie intake will leave bad scars, especially in our minds, leading us to think that our body weight would be probably increased by several folds if extra calories are being taken consecutively.

Indeed, excessive calorie intake will definitely increase the likeliness that you'll gain unwanted weight, and probably fats too (excessive carbohydrates which are not utilized will very likely converted into fats which are being stored in adipose tissues).

So, what should we do? Have you ever thought of reducing calorie intake? If you think that by consuming lesser calorie would not meet the requirement of your personal satiety, think again.

Recent study shows that by eating fewer calories links closely to prevention of certain diseases and could actually have you live longer than the others who consume relatively higher calories. A group of researchers from University of Winsconsin, led by author Ricki J Colman, had used some 35 rhesus macaques, one of the primates to human, as the study subjects. The age of these primates was then ranged from 7 to 14 years old. Among these macaques, half of them were allow to eat freely while the other half were restricted 30 percent less than their normal diet. By making sure that they did not become malnourished, the researchers also fed them supplements to keep them strong physically.

When the oldest macaque became 29 years old many years later, only 33 monkeys were survived. And the result shows that macaques which consumed less calories have longer lifespan. Apart from that, the occurence risk of certain diseases such as diabetes and cancer are also reduced greatly in those which consumed less calorie. In addition, macaques with restricted diet control also have better memory and are more prone in problem-solving than those allowed to eat freely.

This study seems to be very encouraging as it shows positive effects in primates such as rhesus macaques which are very similar to human, be it genetically or physically. Researchers are still looking in depth about this matter and will soon carry out more specific studies to further ensure that calorie intake has close linkages with lifespan and occurence of disease.
